There is a GOOD reason why they have such a low score! I called the store and the worst customer service. They were cordial for the first 5 min, but once I needed to check my plan on my end they got irate and even more so with every question.
Not recommend to anyone!
If you have recently completed Zen Patience training and would like to test your skill level, this is the place for you. You will waste HOURS of your time due to the incompetence of the floor and managerial staff. I am one of the few customers with unlimited Verizon data. I asked JP (floor staff), that if I upgrade if would there be any changes to my plan, not once, not twice, 3X. He assured be nothing would happen. Guess what?! I buy the phone and Verizon messages me stating changes were made to my account: 2GB data plan! "We had no idea". SO then the manager (Stephany) shows up and I just want to return the phone and put everything back to the way it was and she tells me to make an appointment, then she asks JP if I truly had an unlimited plan (right in front of me as if I have a reason to lie). I was traveling and could not come in the following day, but she did not budge since it would take an hour to exchange and the store was closing. She assured me she could take care of the problem and I could keep the phone for $50 (then we shook hands). After numerous phone calls and email exchanges, 2 weeks later I am back at the store because they couldn't fix their mistake and Verizon wouldn't let me reinstate my unlimited plan unless I returned the phone to BestBuy. The exchange took 15 minutes, not an hour as Stephany stated. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you'd like to be treated like a human being.
The staff here is not helpful at all. They are not well trained and very inefficient in their work! We came to update our iPhone here. After letting us wait for one hour, they told us that we can not buy a phone because we don't have New Jersey driver license and our driver license in another state does not work! They took our ID in the beginning and did not say anything then! Never go back for sure.
I just went in today to purchase a screen protector for my new Samsung Galaxy S8. This is the 3rd one I got from Best Buy because I always buy a new one after I switched to a new cellular phone. I purchased the previous screen protector from Best Buy in Secaucus. They always help put it on for me because I'm horrible at it. Today, I was told in Best Buy Mobile in Willowbrook Mall that I need to pay $7.99 if they help me to put it on. So, it isn't enough I purchased from this retailer but they also want me to pay for them in case they screw it up for me. I left with just the screen protector. I'm going to back to refund my purchase because I felt they are getting too greedy. They totally forget what customer service is all about. Everything to them is $$$$$. I will never shop there again.
They legit hung up the phone on me, while I was trying to get clarification on buying a phone. I was on hold for 15 min without being checked on or any explanation. She hung up the phone to attend to other customers, DESPITE THE FACT I AM CUSTOMER!
